Our car stereo with dash cam recorder models come with a standard 64 GB TF card and support up to 256G. However, please note that the TF card is strictly for storing video and image files recorded by the dash cam. You cannot store or play your own music or movies using the TF card. If you're using a new or larger capacity card (128G/256G), make sure to format it directly on the device to ensure compatibility.
Carpuride devices allow you to turn off the system either by pressing the power button or by unplugging the car charger—both methods are equally safe. You can also set an automatic screen-off timer in the system settings, which will put the unit into standby mode to save power. During short stops or while refueling, keeping the system running poses no safety risk. Our automotive cameras are designed with safety and vehicle compatibility in mind.

📱 If you’re using Android Auto:
You need to disconnect Android Auto before accessing dashcam footage from the TF card:
Option 1: On the Carpuride screen, go to Settings, disconnect the WiFi and Bluetooth of your phone, then return to the Home page > tap Playback to view videos;
Option 2: On your Android phone, go to Settings > Apps > Android Auto, disable or disconnect it, then return to the device home screen and tap Playback;
Option 3: Tap SuperLink on the Carpuride home screen, scan the QR code to download the third-party app Evelink, then watch the dashcam videos on your phone.
📱 If you’re using Apple CarPlay (iPhone):
Option 1: You can directly tap Playback on the home screen without disconnecting CarPlay;
Option 2: Tap WiFi Video, follow the prompt to scan a QR code and install Evelink, then open the app to view your dashcam recordings on the phone.
📌 Note:
The TF card is used only for storing dashcam footage. It doesn’t support external music or video playback.
Our system doesn't have a real-time clock (RTC), so the boot screen won't show the correct time unless synced. When connected to Apple CarPlay, the device syncs time from your iPhone. However, Android Auto does not support time syncing, so it only shows system uptime. As for GPS location tagging in videos, current models do not support location display, as GPS hardware is not built-in.

When the TF card storage is full, the system will automatically delete the oldest videos to make room for new recordings. There is no need to manually clear the storage, as the device automatically overwrites the oldest footage, ensuring continuous recording.
Yes, you can easily stream music from Spotify, Apple Music, or other apps via Apple CarPlay or Android Auto on your car stereo with dash cam. Once your smartphone is connected, you can enjoy hands-free music playback, making your drives more enjoyable while also benefiting from the safety features of your car stereo dash cam recorder.
If the rearview camera image appears inverted (left-right), check the Rear Mirror Image setting in the Carpuride device settings. If this setting is turned on, simply turn it off to correct the image.
If the rearview camera displays stripes, green lines, or no image, or if there’s no display. Go to Settings and change the camera format to 1080P. This should resolve the issue and improve image quality.
The reversing lines only appear on the screen when the device receives the reverse signal from your motorcycle or car. The camera icon in manual mode does not trigger the reverse signal, so the reversing lines won’t appear when clicked manually. These lines are only visible when the vehicle is actually in reverse.
