The device arrived in good order in 12 days from the order. The package was complete. At first glance, the W502 looks good, the connection to the iPhone was intuitive and very fast. Mounting on the motorcycle was easy. Yesterday I did the first test of about 250 km. After about 20 minutes, the device turned off completely. I had to stop, turn the motorcycle off, and after starting the device restarted. It only happened once, so I can't explain it. It happened about 5 times while driving that the device switched from CarPlay to home screen mode, but after pressing CarPlay it continued to navigate. I used Waze for navigation.
Otherwise, I can really praise, the responses are fast, the movement in the menu is smooth, visibility in the sun is excellent. Have done 2 trips on my Honda CRF300 Rally using the W502. The size is good for an off road bike, as it’s larger than a mobile phone to view but not as vulnerable as a large tablet when falling off! The system is very simple and is just an extension of your phone. If it continues performing well on a 5 day TET trip to France, I will probably buy the larger screen version for my NX500.
The w502 and w702 are solidly built, fantastic devices that do away with the overpriced motorcycle satnav competitors. It really is a brilliant bit of kit. My only suggestion is that there are more options for low profile mounts, especially for adventure bikes that have a dedicated mounting bar.
